Washinton's Governor

Washington State's new, or should I say temporary, Governor, Christine Gregoire was sworn in today with little support from the fighting Republicans. I think this has been such an interesting Governor race. Gregoire basically wanted to keep re-counting the votes until they were in her favor. She won the third re-count by 129 votes out of 2.9 million. Like they say "third time is a charm."

The problem in King County, which is primarily Demorate, is there are many votes that can't be tied to a voter. " Republicans say widespread irregularities, including votes cast by felons and dead people, spoiled the election to the point where it is impossible to truly know who won," according to Yahoo! News. Due to the uncertainty of the election, Republicans are demanding a re-count. Washington State has not had a Republican Governor in 20 years and the liberals are not going to allow this streak to end. If you think we should have a re-count and live in Washington click here.
