Will Oprah listen to the bloggers?

Blogger celebrity and publisher of Micro Persuasion, Steve Rubel, thinks Oprah should do a show on bloggers. David Letterman did a similar plea to get on the Oprah show and his efforts lead him no where. If the blogosphere can get Oprah to do a show on blogs then we know that traditional media is losing it's dominance . At least in my opinion. We will have to see if this happens.

This puts a new meaning to finger food...

Imagine sitting down to eat some grub at Wendy's when you realize something doesn't taste quite right. So you spit your bit out and find a finger tip. So gross. Well, this happened at a Wendy's in California according to the San Francisco Chronicle.

Sex Doll raises bomb alert

In Germany, a sex doll began vibrating at the post office and caused a bomb scare. The guy returning the doll claimed "he had wanted to return the doll because it kept turning itself on at the wrong moment."

This has taken me forever to figure out. I have FINALLY figured out a way to download one of the wedding videos I made while I as in Atlanta. It takes about 5 minutes to open but that was the best I could do. The file is giant.

Spring has arrived in Seattle

I have lived many places and I think that of all the springs I have been through in other places, this spring in Seattle is the prettiest. For you New Jersey readers, New Jersey has the best fall.

I love the first time you take your shoes off and feel grass on your feet for the first time that year. I had such a great weekend. It was absolutely beautiful in the North West and I spent most of my weekend outside.

On Saturday we played a game outside with our friends that Jon made up involving a football and a soccer ball. I felt like a little kid again when you make up games and create your own rules. We did gymnastics, laughed and sat in the luscious green grass. It was great.

On Sunday after church we had a picnic in the park and threw the ball around. It doesn't get much better than that. I couldn't help but wish I had a dog to join us in the fun. Oh well, someday I can have my Labordoodle.

There is just something that rejuvenate your soul when you are active outside and the sun heats your skin. It was great.

Jon has a broken arm

This just in. Jon did break his arm when he fell down diving into the car. He has to get a cast today. He will have a cast for a month. Good thing his doctor appointment was today and not last week or he would of had a cast for Jimmy's wedding.

I had such a great time in Atlanta at Jimmy's wedding. We stayed at a 4 star resort/ winery/ golf club called the Chateau Elan.

The Wall Street Journal acknowledged blogs as a business tool

Having a successful start up company means beating everyone else to the table. I think LexBlog, the company I work for, has done it.

LexBlog has been in existence since last May and just today, almost a year later, the Wall Street Journal reported that "the blog as business tool has arrived." Being able to see the way business is going and being first to market has it's advantages if you have a good product and vision.
