Our weekend in Colorado

We arrived in Hawaii today. It is so nice to be back. I really like it here. We will probably be here for a few weeks, but we really never know what the heck our schedules will end up being. For now, we are here and I am going to relax and enjoy all Hawaii has to offer.

We had a great time in Colorado. We flew there for our friends weeding. We got to see a lot of college friends. It was a wonderful time. One of the nights we stayed at the Stanley Hotel, which is where the movie the Shining was filmed. It was kinda spooky.

On the day of the wedding (Saturday), we started off the morning playing some good old flag football. Except it wasn't ordinary flag football it was raining/hailing and about 40 degrees which when you live in LA is really really cold. Once we all were sick with pneumonia we went to get ready for the wedding which was...also outside. It did stop raining for the wedding however, it was still in the 40's with the wind chill making it somewhere in the 30s. Yeah it was really cold, but super beautiful. The reception was great and we danced until the wee hours of the night.

I want to take a moment to mention how fantastic the cake was. Sean's mom made the cake and spent 14 hours frosting it. Way to go Judy! We had a great time and can't wait to get together with our college friends again.
